Tollgate is a per-use USDC settlement stack on Arc. The 'Citations' answer engine (citations/) sells paid queries over x402 in both exact and Circle Gateway-batched schemes (GatewayWalletBatched in citations/src/lib/x402-server.ts, via @circle-fin/x402-batching) and routes creator revenue splits through FeeRouterV1 (createSplit/pay/claim at 0xeff9bc35...). Committed contracts make agent spend provable and capped: UseReceiptRegistry.sol anchors EIP-712 use-intents, and PayGate.sol's payWithIntent enforces a per-intent maxSpend with atomic anchor-plus-payout. A pay-per-piece SDK (pay-per-piece/, package tollgate-pay-per-piece) handles nonce-serialized concurrent FeeRouter payments with a pluggable SplitRegistryStore. An MCP server exposes a tollgate_ask tool that pays per cited source via @x402/fetch. The 'Aperture' photo/video marketplace (aperture/, Circle W3S custodial wallets, watermarked previews, custodial withdraw) doubles as an Immich shared-link sidecar, and PeerTube, Jellyfin, and WordPress plugins bolt pay-per-use onto platforms builders already run.
