ProofSource pays creators small USDC amounts on Arc whenever an AI agent cites their content. For each question the buyer flow decides to BUY, REUSE, or SKIP a source (apps/api/src/modules/policy), delivers paid content over x402 (apps/api/src/lib/x402.ts), and settles through Circle Gateway (apps/api/src/integrations/payments/gateway.ts) with verified-delivery receipts. A smoke script at apps/api/scripts/smoke.ts exercises all three decision paths end to end, and a traction module (apps/api/src/modules/metrics/traction.ts) breaks settlement totals down by creator. Integration surfaces ship from packages/: a typed client in @proofsource/sdk, an MCP server in @proofsource/mcp, and an OpenAI-compatible plugin sidecar in @proofsource/openclaw-plugin.
