Prime Compute is a marketplace for renting idle compute by the second. Providers list GPUs, CPUs, and servers; renters post requirements and budgets, and payment streams as USDC on Arc via x402 batched nanopayments through Circle Gateway. Lumen, the AI broker, discovers and ranks providers, opens the payment stream, watches health, and migrates rents on degradation, reasoning from a written soul and policy in services/agent/broker.soul.md and policy.md rather than a fixed scoring formula. Settlement, scoring, and wallet logic live under services/src (settlement/, scoring.ts, broker/), with an always-on metering worker charging per unit of use. A reputation Compute Score tracks real provider outcomes, and both the web frontend in src/ and the MCP server in mcp/ open the market to humans and agents alike.
