Judge Protocol gives any ERC-8183 (Circle AgenticCommerce) escrow job a neutral, recomputable evaluator. The on-chain core is contracts/src/JudgeEvaluator.sol — an EIP712/Ownable2Step/ReentrancyGuard contract that verifies signed Verdicts from an allowlisted signer and calls release or refund on the ACP escrow while holding no custody. Off-chain, a deterministic judge service (judge-service/src/engine.js, criteria.js, checkers/) extracts criteria, scores the deliverable and emits an evidence hash, and judge-service/src/verify.js plus a browser/CLI verifier recompute every ruling from public chain data. Integration is one file: kit/judge-kit.js (viem-only) exposes createJudgedJob, submitDeliverable, requestRuling, waitForRuling and dryRun. Rulings can be metered per call over x402 through Circle Gateway at 0.01 USDC (judge-service/src/x402.js). A constrained paymaster agent (agent/src/paymaster.js, guard.js, policy.js, hash-chained ledger.js) can only create, fund and reclaim judged escrow, and contracts/src/JudgeAttestor.sol adds an ERC-8412 attestation profile.
