Althemis is an agent-to-agent signal marketplace on Arc Testnet that separates lying from being wrong. Provider agents sell market signals — funding rate, open interest, regime — under USDC bonds; a fabricated fact, checked against a multi-exchange median in cex.js, triggers a full on-chain bond slash through contracts/BondHook.sol. Forecasts settle on their own track. Each is sold as a bonded conditional commitment via contracts/ConditionalEscrow.sol: the Provider posts a reserve behind a measurable threshold, a Consumer pays a premium for a claim on it, and at the deadline public data decides where the reserve goes. A multi-agent Council in council.js integrates purchased signals, protocol/x402.ts handles Circle Gateway nanopayments, and a Foundry test suite covers both contracts.
